Tree forts

Sittin' in front of the tree fort.

 Carefully propping branches against the trunk.... Arranging them just so to form the walls. The little window uncovered to peek out.  Blanket for the floor. Cheerios and apples for snacks for the little pioneers.
The joys of childhood... Building a tree fort out the fallen trees in the backyard. Twas fleeting fun. That evening daddy decimated the tree with the chain saw.
