Battle Scars

See my battle scars
I even have a fat lip. This goes to show that learning to walk is a dangerous project. Mommy tricked me on April 16th. She was teasing me with a ball. Without thinking about it I toddled after it. Lo and behold, I could walk. I'm so proud of myself. I toddle about more daily. I have bumps and bruises to show for it!

My New Words

Mommy has been trying to teach me baby sign language for probably 5-6 months now. Boy, did I surprise her this week. While she was changing my diaper, she was telling me to say change. When I did, mommy's mouth fell open. But she still wasn't quite sure what I was saying. So later on that day, I had a poopy diaper. She asked me if I needed to be changed and I signed the word. Mommy ran into the office to tell Daddy of my new accomplishment.
I also can sign nurse. I can say Mama and Dada. Mom thinks I have very good language skills for a little guy just shy of 11 months old.

Wooden bench and pegs

Mom still thinks that I should be a model. My Uncle Pete made me this cool bench with wooden pegs. Supposedly I shouldn't be able to figure this out for another 6-8 months, but... I can already put the pegs into the holes and push them through with one finger. Mom and Dad are so proud of my abilities. I'm learning and changing so very fast. I just over a month I'll be 1 year old!

My California Trip age 10 months

I had so much fun and was able to do so many new things in California!
