Slam bam labor

Rick Supporting me through a transitionary contraction

Arrgggh! Pushed that baby out in less than 20 minutes

Here she is in less than 6 hours of labor. My midwife felt she was a bit early due to being caked in vernix and having smooth bottomed feet.

wowie, these pics are fascinating! I was wondering what that big black tub thingy was in your bedroom when I was visiting last week! Now I know. Shootz, you are pushing like your life depends on it. Thanks for sharing the pictures... I'm completely fascinated.

I was going to call you last night when I got your message, but then I looked at the time... 9 p.m. and I decided to wait until you felt more rested.

Plus I figured the whole fam was going to keep your phone buzzing, and that I could jolly well wait my turn to hog you on the phone for a few!!!

Love you Rach, and GOOD JOB!!!! She's a cutie!

Congratulations from Grandma Melody! We are very proud of all of you and Abbrianna is a beautiful baby. She looks like a strawberry blonde to me. I've always thought strawberry blonde hair was stunningly beautiful.

You were so awesome! I was amazed at how well you coped with the pain and instinctively knew what to do to get that little girl born. YOU ARE WOMAN!

Isn't is incredible what we can do?!

Thanks so much for letting me be a part of Abrianna's very first moments on the outside!
