I wonder why, when we see such a beautiful picture that pulls at the heart strings, the only words we can conjure up (or am I just alone on this?) is, "Ohhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!! How sweet" or "adorable!" or "cute!" While they all fit, it is so much more than that.
It is development. Cognative behavioral copy-catting. Mimicking because he adores Rick, and he's curious, intelligent, growing, adorable, cute, and yet I still cannot bring my imagination to grasp a word to rightly display what I think and feel when I see these most fascinating and beautiful pictures.
It makes me want to get up and visit you guys right now. As in, catch the next ferry, and arrive really late tonight, or early tomorrow morning, and swoop him up and slobber him all over with kisses, and then give you Rachel, the biggest hug ever.
Then, in true mom-fashion, I'd cry.
Yes, I would.
