Lucas and Abigayle's birthday party.

Living life out loud.

Carefully touching the frosting.

Diggin' in.

Dropping cold ice cream on her lap.

"Momma! Help! It's cold and sticky!"

She turned her candle into a spoon. Later Lucas brought her a real spoon.

Opening his gifts.

Opening her gifts.

Playing with her new gear toy.

The pyramid is falling down.

With Mother's day weekend being busy, our friends weren't available to help celebrate Abigayle's birthday by herself.
So I combined Lucas and Abigayle birthdays turning it into a taco night. Such fun to sit out and relax while visiting and kids played happily together. The trampoline was great entertainment.

Lucas couldn't wait for the cake and ice cream. Then "Mom can I open my presents now??" Such energy.
Abigayle wasn't sure what to do with the cupcake, ice cream, or presents. She didn't know that the idea was to make a mess. The candle became a spoon and the cold ice cream a matter to cry about.

I'm  so grateful for friends who stepped in taking pictures, cutting cake ( so I could take pictures) and organizing food stuffs.

All and all a wonderful party.
